Joana Bail is a contemporary oil painter residing and working in Berlin. She is known for her intimate portraits of women at home. Her paintings depict women in reflective, often solitary moments - scenes that are at once intimate and universal.  Each painting offers a moment of stillness, a mirror to inner landscapes.

2024 marked a year of artistic growth, shaped by her first major exhibitions and a growing interest in her figurative work. A key milestone was her participation in Berlin Art Week, where her paintings were shown in a duo exhibition with over 300 visitors. Works from her second series, You in Quiet Spaces, are currently on view in a group show in Hamburg alongside established artists.

In 2025, she plans to focus on a new body of work—dedicated to deeper conceptual development, technical refinement, and artistic experimentation.
